Now You Can Bang and Kill Hookers on Your iPad!

Rockstar Studios, that one company that makes those games where you steal cars and do missions for mobsters and seedy criminals (I don’t blame you if you haven’t heard of them; they’re not that popular), announced today that they’ll be porting one of their games to the iPad.  I’m talking, of course, about GTA: Chinatown Wars.

Not only is this game being ported over to Apple’s wannabe video game system (if you can’t tell, I’m not a big fan), they are upscaling the graphics so it will display in HD.  Aside from the graphical improvements, the game is virtually the same version that was released in 2009 for the Nintendo DS.  You’re still playing as Huang Lee, the son of a murdered crime boss, burdened with keeping the family business afloat after his father’s death.  GTA: Chinatown Wars HD features more than 50 storyline missions as well as countless other side missions – typical things to expect, if you’ve ever played a Grand Theft Auto before.

The only difference that Chinatown Wars HD will feature on the iPad that was excluded from the Nintendo DS is the ability to integrate your own music in the game, by means of “Independence FM“, a radio station that pulls tracks from your iTunes library.  So upload your Jpop music and get to hacking and slashing all the prostitutes you can.

GTA: Chinatown Wars HD is now available on iTunes for the reasonable price of $9.99.  Even if you already have this game, this may be worth repurchasing.  So get to it!
