Golgocast S02E01!!! – Gootecks/Ross vs. Jacobs/Garcia/Hawkins/Belisle

We’re back kiddos! As a lengthy post-E3-mortem, team Golgo took a well deserved break to regroup, change the guard, update the site, and get back into it! Now, we never intended for the break to be as long as it was, but things have been crazy… (Ir)Regardless, we got together this past Thursday to chat it up with our new friends Ryan “Gootecks” Gutierrez and Mike Ross about all things Street Fighter! Its pretty topic-specific, though we do branch off into some other fighting game topics. All and all I think it turned out great! Have a listen and we’ll be back with another installment of Golgocast next week… hell, I may even look up what number we’re actually on!
P.S. - Take note of Jorge’s excellent usage of the 4th person perspective!

Tekken x Street Fighter To Be Revealed At GamesCom

We got to see a taste of Street Fighter x Tekken at SDCC 2010. Now it’s Harada’s turn to run the show and reveal Tekken x Street Fighter. He and Yoshinoro Ono, Street Fighter series producer, will take the stage in Cologne, Germany, at GamesCom on August 19th. There will also be on-stage tournaments for SSF4 and Tekken 6, with competitors picked at random by Harada and Ono themselves. For those in Cologne, the event is open to the public and takes place at 2:00 PM CET in the Konrad-Adenauer-Saal of the Kölnmesse. Attendees will all receive exclusive Tekken x Street Fighter swag with special prizes going to the tournament winners for each game. Be sure to follow Ono-san and Harada-san on Twitter for more info (and amusing banter).
